Sustainable Rocca al Mare

Rocca al Mare centre goal is to use renewable energy and green thinking. We want to be a positive example in terms of environmental friendliness for other shopping centers as well as for all our customers, thus we have joined Eesti Energia's Green Energy customers. The Green Energy label indicates that all electricity used in the center is produced from renewable energy sources. In order to comprehensively evaluate the building's energy efficiency, environmental and user-friendliness, and centrality, we have joined the BREEAM In-Use green label, which is evaluated every two years. In the assessment carried out in 2022, the center of Rocca al Mare received a label of GOOD level, and work continues to obtain an even higher level label. The ventilation and cooling system of the Rocca al Mare center is based on smart management, which aims to optimize the use of energy. The center has also replaced most of the lighting in the general areas with energy-saving LED lamps.
